Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations at our Oakland, CA location. You will lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain a clean, welcoming coffee bar while supporting a positive team environment.

The role includes opening/closing duties, cash handling, inventory tasks, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting. 18+ and able to work varied shifts; benefits include coffee perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities
• Minimum three days per week availability including mornings/evenings/weekends
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country of the job location
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, managing tasks and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with engagement, quality, and friendly service.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
