Job summary

Taco Bell in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Shift Lead who will drive shift execution with energy, coach team members, and uphold Taco Bell’s standards. You’ll manage operations, resolve guest concerns, and partner with the GM on business initiatives.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a positive guest experience while supporting inventory and labor controls.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Operates cash register and handles cash/change as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shifts and execute the MIC Success Routine to meet guest needs.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and labor procedures.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Support facility maintenance and health and safety standards.
