Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lead 1 to support the front desk team, uphold our hospitality standards, and enhance the member experience. You will lead by example, train staff, and ensure a vibrant, professional gym environment.

The role covers member sign-ups, retail presentation, answering phones, POS transactions, and daily shift operations while maintaining cleanliness and engaging with members to foster community.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional presentation.
• Ability to train and lead a team of front desk staff.
• Clear communication and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain Chuze standards in customer interactions by welcoming and engaging all members.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks to keep the gymly presentation exceptionally clean.
• Assist front desk operations including membership sign-ups, retail display, amenities, phones, POS, and smoothies if applicable.
• Train front desk employees and follow best practices from LMS paths and harassment prevention training.
• Support daily shift operations, including lunch breaks, delegation of cleaning tasks, and opening/closing duties.
• Assist in resolving member inquiries and escalate as needed with management.
• Perform administrative tasks like member reports, inventory counts and club emails.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.

Job Description

As a Lead 1, you will play a pivotal role in supporting your team by ensuring a vibrant, professional, and efficient work environment. You will lead by example, setting the standard for kindness and en-chuzey-asm in every aspect of our operations, with a strong focus on enhancing the member experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Set and maintain Chuze standards in customer by welcoming and interacting with all members
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
• Assist in all aspects of front desk operations, including membership sign-ups, retail presentation, amenities, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and making smoothies, if applicable
• Train all front desk employees and maintain knowledge of best practices and policies found in in-person coaching, Learning Management System (LMS) paths, and Harassment Prevention training
• Support running daily shift operations such as breaking employees for lunches, delegating and following up on cleaning responsibilities, and successfully completing opening and closing responsibilities
• Support in troubleshooting member inquiries and partner with management for escalated concerns
• Assist in administrative tasks such as member management software reports, inventory counts and managing club email
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
