Job summary

Blank Street in Los Angeles is seeking a Shift Lead who will be the heartbeat of the store, guiding the team, maintaining standards, and delivering exceptional hospitality. Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service leadership position.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Full Time: 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week and must be able to work 2 peak days (Fri/Sat/Sun).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and complete Form I-9 with E-Verify.
• Barista accreditation and training program.
• Criminal history considered under CA Fair Chance Act.
• Comprehensive hospitality and teamwork emphasis.
• Flexible weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift with clarity and confidence, directing, coaching, and supporting the team.
• Train new team members alongside the GM and Training Team.
• Maintain standards across product quality, safety, and hospitality.
• Delight customers with welcoming hospitality and turn them into regulars.
• Handle customer or team issues calmly and solution-oriented.
• Keep a clean, organized environment per health and Blank Street standards.
• Partner with Operations and Marketing for events and promotions.
• Master opening and closing procedures to set teams up for success.
