Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Lead to manage daily store operations and lead a team in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will craft coffee and matcha drinks, train new staff, and ensure all recipes and processes are followed while maintaining a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

You thrive on connecting with people, motivating your team, and representing the Blank Street brand through excellent service and teamwork. This is a full-time role in a dynamic cafe setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service leadership role (e.g., Shift Leader, Shift Supervisor, Key Holder).
• 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Full Time: 30-40 hours/week, 4-5 days, 2 peak days (Fri–Sun).
• Barista accreditation and training program completion.

Responsibilities

• Craft beautiful coffee and matcha products.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to Blank Street customers.
• Train new employees and ensure recipes and store processes are followed.
• Open and close the store safely, following checklists.
• Handle and resolve customer issues that arise.
• Lead store initiatives to increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and profitability.
