Job summary

Famous Dave's is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the management team in overseeing restaurant operations and staff during assigned shifts. You will ensure adherence to recipes, procedures, quality, timeliness, and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes supervision, training, flexibility in scheduling, and a focus on safety, sanitation, and cost controls to drive guest value and financial performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance is required.
• Successful completion of required training and on-the-job checklists and quizzes including annual re-certification.
• NRA ServSafe food and alcohol certifications preferred.
• 2 years of restaurant or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees during scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and well maintained.
• Guest resolution.
• Adhere to all Company standard operating procedures.
• Mentor staff to maintain high service standards and guest value.
• Understand and execute menu items according to recipes.
• Create exceptional guest service.
• Achieve financial results through systems and standards.
• Monitor sales, cost of goods sold, labor, and total operating expenses.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
