Job summary

Dave is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the management team in daily operations, supervising teammates, and ensuring timely, quality service. The role involves conducting Ops Walks, coordinating shifts, and training staff to meet policy and safety standards.

The successful candidate will lead by example, balance cash handling duties, and maintain guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Certified in all stations and as a Shift Leader following the DHC Training Program.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Assistant General Manager and General Manager in daily operations.
• Direct employees, monitor performance, and delegate tasks.
• Organize shift schedules and monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off.
• Greet Guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive attitude.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety compliance in all areas of the restaurant.
• Balance cash drawers and assist with deposits as needed.
• Train new and current Team Members and provide feedback to leadership.
• Communicate performance issues to Restaurant Management Team.
