The Press Club Grill is seeking a Supervisor to support daily shop operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role leads by example, supports the team on the floor, and upholds food safety, cleanliness, and financial performance standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, coaching staff, maintaining shop ambiance, and driving upselling opportunities. The ideal candidate will balance hospitality with efficient operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality supervision or team leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and guest-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver warm, efficient guest service and drive a positive guest experience.
• Coach and support team members throughout the shift to maintain standards and performance.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety, including proper temperature logging and sanitation.
• Monitor daily sales performance and coach upselling and achieve average check targets.
• Ensure consistent food safety practices, correct handling, temperatures, and proper dishwashing procedures.
• Promote workplace safety and proper handling of gloves, footwear, lifting, and safe practices.
• Set expectations for hospitality, operations, and financial awareness; own the guest experience.
