Job summary

The Press Club Grill is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead our fast-paced team during assigned shifts when management isn’t present. You’ll help keep operations smooth and ensure quality service and food.

You will supervise 3–15 staff, delegate tasks for ordering, receiving, storage, and supplies, and assist in daily food prep and paperwork. Overtime and weekend work may be required; applicants must be 18+ with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Basic math and understanding fractions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience supervising a staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees.
• Delegate responsibilities for ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of supplies.
• Assist in the supervision of preparation, sales, and service of food.
• Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty.
• Assist Team Members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency.
• Complete daily food preparation including slicing, portioning, and rotating products.
• Assist in daily and weekly paperwork.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
