Job summary

Jack in the Box in California seeks a Shift Lead to assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and team leadership. You will follow brand procedures to deliver outstanding guest service and food quality while maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing operations, analyzing safety and performance, and supporting growth initiatives with a positive, hospitality‑driven attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; age 18+.
• 6+ months of restaurant operations experience.
• Shift Lead training classes required; ServSafe in some states.
• English communication required; Spanish helpful.
• Reading, writing, math and POS skills required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Execute restaurant operations with the Restaurant Manager.
• Lead and train team members; ensure brand procedures.
• Deliver guest‑centric service and food quality.
• Monitor costs and adhere to budget and goals.
• Address guest questions and resolve concerns promptly.
