Del Taco seeks a Shift Manager to assist the General Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience and strong team performance. You will help train the next generation of leaders and ensure smooth shift operations.

You will supervise 1–7 team members, manage shifts, uphold safety and quality standards, and support staffing decisions. A hands-on leader with excellent guest service is essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in quick service restaurant environment with guest satisfaction focus.
• Ability to lead and train staff to deliver quality service.
• Strong multitasking and follow-through abilities.
• Effective communication with team, managers, and guests.
• Proficient using POS systems and basic business math.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in supervising a team of 1–7 members to deliver quality guest service.
• Run shifts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and how to explain them to guests.
• Record orders, handle payments, and monitor cash accuracy.
• Provide training and development support to the restaurant team.
• Support staffing decisions and conduct interviews when needed.
