Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead a small team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced café in Pasadena. The role includes opening/closing duties, cash handling, inventory checks, and maintaining a welcoming, clean environment for guests.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of leadership and POS experience, with the flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience directing others.
• Minimum 1 year of POS/cash handling responsibilities.
• Shifts require availability at least three days per week, including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Eligible to work legally in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, manage task deployment and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with genuine engagement and quality coffee.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
• Adapt to changing priorities and solve problems to keep shifts running smoothly.
