Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is hiring a Shift Lead in Los Angeles to manage daily shift operations, mentor team members, and ensure exceptional customer service and product quality.

You will lead opening/closing, handle cash, and support inventory and cleanliness standards while maintaining a welcoming coffee bar. Flexible part-time schedules are available, with eligibility for benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities in related industry.
• Shift Leads must maintain a schedule availability of at least three days a week to meet business needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity by managing task deployment and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with engaging service and high product quality.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
• Execute opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks and visual updates.
