Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Lead to drive daily operations with energy and commitment. You will coach the team, resolve guest concerns, and work with management to execute business initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Your role includes leading MIC routines, ensuring food safety, quality, and timely service while supporting training and development of Team Members. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity: move up to 45 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality are required.
• Operating a cash register and making change.
• Basic math skills.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and health/safety standards.
• Promotes and champions Taco Bell culture and values.
• Provides constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Executes shift duties accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing MIC (Manager in Charge) routines and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively with the GM to reach resolutions.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with profit & loss by cash control, security, inventory, and labor management.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and health/safety standards.
