Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations on a shift basis, guiding staff to deliver a standout guest experience. You will manage team performance, ensure food quality, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers growth toward restaurant management and requires strong leadership and communication skills. The position focuses on supervising operations, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and partnering with management to drive business results.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience required.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Must obtain a valid state/local food handler’s certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and manage restaurant staff during the shift.
• Train new employees in procedures, guest experience, and company standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide balanced feedback.
• Lead shifts by assigning tasks, managing breaks, and ensuring smooth hand-offs between shifts.
• Set a positive example through hustle, high standards, and a guest-first attitude.
• Coach and support team members to improve speed, service, and execution.
• Ensure restaurant is staffed by executing schedule created and posted by RGM.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock, and operability of the restaurant during all hours.
• Enforce company policies and health and safety regulations; escalate issues to AGM or RGM.
