Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Lead in Utah to drive shift performance, coach the team, and uphold Taco Bell’s standards for service and quality. You’ll coordinate with the GM and management to deliver excellent guest experiences and support business initiatives.

The role requires at least 1 year in restaurant/retail with 3 months of shift lead experience preferred, strong communication, and core cash/food safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Cash, security, inventory, and labor policies must be adhered to.
• Basic Math skills and attendance/punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Execute shift duties to meet Taco Bell's standards and customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members’ Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders; resolve customer complaints quickly.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance and training needs.
• Assist GM with screening Team Member candidates and with labor management.
• Support Profit & Loss management by following cash control procedures and inventory controls.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist with facility maintenance and health and safety compliance.
