Job summary

The Press Club Grill in Pueblo, CO is seeking a reliable Person in Charge to oversee daily restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring fast, friendly service and a clean, safe environment. You will lead a team of 3–15 teammates, manage opening/closing tasks, and uphold standard of quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic math for daily operations.
• Must stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties requiring manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of supplies to minimize waste and theft.
• Assist in preparation, sales and service of food.
• Supervise food preparation and service during shifts.
• Assist team during rush periods to maintain efficiency.
• Complete daily food preparation tasks including slicing and portioning.
• Assist in daily and weekly paperwork and preventive maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as required.
