Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an energetic team member to help open and close the store when management is absent, handle cash duties, and deliver a friendly customer experience. You will assist with deliveries, pricing, inventory, and backroom operations to keep the store running smoothly.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to maintain accurate records and compliant procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management as necessary.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Record and reconcile sales, pricing changes, and voids on the cash registers.
• Assist with displays, pricing signage, and stock organization.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Ensure compliance with policies and local/state laws and health/safety requirements.
