Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable associate to open/close the store, manage cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are prepared for the business day. You will assist with returns, refunds, and daily cashier duties while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and support inventory, pricing, and merchandising tasks. This role supports store operations when management is not present and contributes to a consistent Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash handling, and ensures accurate cash drops.
• Engages customers, resolves issues, and delivers a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and assists with pricing and merchandising.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and back‑door access when needed.
