Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to help open and close the store when management is not present, including systems startup and cash handling duties. You will ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day and assist with opening the back door for deliveries.

You will also handle returns, refunds, price changes, and cash drops, while delivering a distinctive customer experience and assisting with everyday store operations and service at the front lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Experience in retail operations and cash handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store when management is absent, handling required system starts and cash tasks.
• Complete returns, voids, refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and assist with floor and stockroom readiness.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed to support store operations.
• Ensure proper pricing and signage; maintain inventory accuracy and serve customers at the storefront.
