Job summary

Walgreens in Auburn, WA is seeking a Customer Experience/Operations associate who will open and close the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for customers.

The role includes processing returns, refunds, and price changes, assisting with vendor deliveries and displays, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting store-wide operations to deliver a consistent, delightful customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Cash handling and basic store system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assists with and coaches team members in vendor ordering, backdoor deliveries, and order review.
• Registers all related sales on the cash register with attention to scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Assists with order exceptions on release day and reverse logistics (returns, etc.).
• Evaluates and develops displays, completes resets and revisions.
• Maintains inventory counts and on-hand accuracy across departments and stockrooms.
• Ensures proper pricing signage and local regulatory pricing tasks are completed accurately.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities and store maintenance to keep the store clean and orderly.
• Supports separation of food items and stock rotation in compliance with policies.
• Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment and assists at the pharmacy out window.
• Ensures compliance with regulated products laws and bag checks of team members.
• Seeks to maintain respectful relationships and completes special assignments as requested.
