Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to open and close the store when management is not present, handling required cash systems and ensuring floor and stock room readiness for business. You will process returns, refunds, and cash drops while providing excellent customer service at the register.

The role involves maintaining accurate inventory, assisting with pricing and displays, and supporting store operations and housekeeping to ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, and cash drops; provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience to customers and patients.
• Manages store operations such as ordering, pricing, displays, inventory counts, and housekeeping.
• Assists with training and communicates tasks when management is absent; reports issues to management.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety, and regulatory requirements and handles basic bookkeeping tasks.
