Job summary

Whistle Express Car Wash in Virginia seeks a Shift Lead to help ensure each shift runs smoothly by supporting the team and delivering a great customer experience. You’ll engage customers, assist with daily operations, uphold site standards, and step in to lead when management isn’t on-site.

You’ll supervise opening and closing, train teammates, enforce safety, inspect washes for quality, and continuously look for ways to improve service and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Ability to lead a team and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: greet customers, answer questions, promote memberships, educate on wash packages, provide feedback to the team.
• Operations & Safety: position vehicles, prep for wash, monitor equipment, enforce safety protocols, resolve issues to keep operations smooth.
• Team Leadership: lead shifts, open/close procedures, delegate tasks, monitor performance, handle staff challenges.
• Attention to Detail: inspect vehicles for quality, uphold Sparkle Assurance, report issues, provide guidance, seek process improvements.
