Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. in Odessa, TX is seeking a Shift Lead to drive team performance during busy shifts, coach Team Members, handle customer concerns, and partner with the GM on initiatives to improve operations. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will execute the MIC routine, ensure food safety and quality, manage cash handling and labor, and provide constructive feedback while helping train and develop teammates and uphold Taco Bell culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritize customer needs.
• Oversee Shift Excellence tasks and maintain a clean, neat appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with labor management and inventory control.
