Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a shift supervisor responsible for profitable operation of a specific shift under the General Manager. You will ensure compliance with health, wage, age, ADA and employment regulations while upholding company policies.

Lead a restaurant team to deliver superior guest service, quality, cleanliness and a positive Firehouse culture. Assist the GM with operational plans and training, and participate in hiring and discipline as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant complies with health, wage, age, ADA and employment laws.
• Ensure knowledge and enforcement of Firehouse Subs policies.
• Maintain profitability by controlling food cost, labor, and utilities on shift.
• Provide leadership to the team to meet service, quality and cleanliness standards.
• Assist GM with current operation plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining staff.
• Ensure required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate and on schedule.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally.
• Communicate issues to GM/Owner promptly.
• Able to stand up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
