Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Millburn, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations of our travel plaza. You will manage team performance, ensure friendly service, and uphold brand standards and food safety.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, operating POS, handling cash, training new staff, cross-selling, and maintaining inventory and cleanliness. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including packaging, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and policies.
