Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle required cash processes, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will assist with returns, refunds, and daily cash tasks while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Engage customers, help with product selection, and uphold pricing accuracy, inventory control, and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership or supervisory experience in retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management and handle required cash processes and floor readiness.
• Process returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to registers.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and model best practices in customer service.
• Greet customers and assist with products and services to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with pricing changes, inventory accuracy, displays, and basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
• Support vendor deliveries, backdoor access for deliveries, and store upkeep and safety compliance.
