Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated retail associate to help open and close the store when management is not on duty, including start-up of systems, cash handling, and preparing the floor and stock room for business. The role requires handling back door access for deliveries and maintaining security with bag checks.

You will deliver a consistently friendly customer experience and support inventory and pricing tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and readying floor and stock room.
• Processes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets and assists with products and services, resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains store keys and supports back-room operations, vendor deliveries, pricing and signage, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
