Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Irondequoit, NY is seeking a capable team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for a smooth business day.

You will also assist with vendor deliveries through the back door and ensure all required systems start correctly. In this role you will deliver friendly, proactive customer service, process returns and refunds, and support inventory, pricing, and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management and ensure readiness for business.
• Handle cash, refunds, voids, and day-end cash procedures.
• Engage customers and deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Coach team members on vendor orders and back-door deliveries.
• Maintain inventory counts and pricing signage.
• Assist with displays, resets, and merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with laws on regulated products.
• Serve as liaison between management and staff when management is absent.
• Attend training and complete requested PPLs.
