Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assists with and coaches team members on vendor ordering processes and backdoor deliveries, including opening for deliveries.
• Ensures accurate sales records, price verifications, and voids; reviews order exceptions on release day and supports reverse logistics.
• Assists in evaluating displays, resets, and seasonal promotions; maintains inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom.
• Maintains pricing accuracy and signage per local regulations; supports routine price changes and shelf tagging.
• Performs bookkeeping tasks, cash reports/counts, and bill payments as needed; assists with store maintenance and appearance.
• Supports separation of food items and proper stock rotation; ensures regulatory compliance for prohibited items.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment; assists at Pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products; conducts bag checks and enforces policies.
• Completes special assignments as requested.
