Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a store associate capable of opening and closing the store in the absence of management and handling all related cash operations. You will greet customers, assist with products, and resolve issues to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities include supporting vendor deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, updating prices, and assisting with displays and back-office tasks. Fluency in English is required; previous retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Process returns, refunds, and cash drops; provide change to cash registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience; greet and assist customers.
• Hold store keys to open/close and assist with vendor deliveries through back door as needed.
• Register sales, handle price verifications, and track pricing changes.
• Assist with displays, resets, and stock rotation; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and daily cash reports as requested.
• Ensure compliance with policies and local regulations; maintain store appearance.
