Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a store associate who will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, support backroom operations, and ensure the floor and stock room readiness for the business day.

You will assist with vendor deliveries and pricing, while delivering a friendly, proactive customer experience. The role emphasizes strong English communication, one year of leadership or supervisory experience, and knowledge of inventory controls.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• We will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash drops; provides change at registers as needed.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience and assists customers with products and services.
• Handles vendor deliveries through backdoor access and assists with ordering, returns, and reverse logistics as needed.
• Monitors pricing and signage to ensure compliant, accurate pricing and displays.
• Maintains inventory accuracy across departments and stockrooms and assists with basic maintenance tasks.
