Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store team member to open and close the store when management is not present, ensuring all systems are started, cash handling is correct, and the floor and stock room are ready for customers.

In addition, you will handle refunds, returns, and price verifications, while delivering a friendly, helpful customer experience and supporting inventory, displays, and back-office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and preparing floor and stock room for the day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets and assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing signage, processes vendor deliveries, and supports displays and stock cleanliness.
