Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to support opening/closing the store, handle cash, and ensure shelves and backrooms are ready for the business day. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to deliver a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services; resolves issues.
• Models customer service best practices and supports team with service traits.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management and assists with deliveries.
• Registers all sales accurately; reviews price verifications and voids as needed.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and proper pricing/signage; supports displays and stock rotations.
