Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in driving store execution and customer service excellence. This role leads staff in the manager’s absence, ensuring smooth operations and on-time opening/closing procedures.

The ideal candidate has strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and communication skills, with experience supervising retail teams and a flexible schedule including mornings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage store staff and supervise the crew, directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints while promoting CVS customer service culture.
• Handle customer relations in line with company policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Merchandise and presentation: price, stock shelves and execute displays and inventory.
• Reset departments following planogram guidelines (POGs).
