Job summary

Walgreens in Wilmington, DE is seeking a team member to assist with opening and closing the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure readiness for the business day.

You will engage customers, handle returns and refunds, assist with deliveries, manage pricing and signage, and help maintain store conditions and inventory while delivering a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Assists with and coaches team members on warehouse/vendor ordering processes and opening the backdoor for deliveries.
• Registers all related sales, records scan errors, price verifications, and voids; reviews order releases and handles reverse logistics.
• Develops displays, completes resets, reviews signage, and maintains inventory accuracy in all areas.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products; manages bag checks and housekeeping.
