Walgreens Co. is seeking a store operations associate to run opening/closing tasks in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will manage returns, refunds, cash drops, and price changes while upholding pricing accuracy and local regulations. The role emphasizes delivering a distinctive customer experience, greeting customers, helping with questions, and coaching teammates on service best practices.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience and Walgreens service traits.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open/close without management; assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Registers all related sales, records scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; reviews order exceptions on release day; assists in reverse logistics.
