Job summary

Walgreens in Northbrook, IL is seeking a reliable Retail Key Holder to open and close the store in the absence of store management. You will handle required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including opening the back door for deliveries.

You will also engage customers, process returns, refunds, cash drops, price adjustments, and assist with inventory, displays, and basic housekeeping.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
