Job summary

Walgreens in Mason City, IA is seeking team members to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and POS duties, and ensure floor and stock rooms are ready for the day.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, assist with vendor deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, and support merchandising while upholding compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Process product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and inventory counts, including backdoor access for deliveries.
• Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and shelf displays to support compliant pricing and merchandising.
• Help with basic bookkeeping activities and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
