Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, handling required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers and assist with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Coach team members on customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys and open/close as needed; assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Register all sales on the assigned cash register, track scanning errors and price verifications, and manage voids.
• Review order exceptions and assist with reverse logistics and stock movement.
• Assist in merchandising, displays, resets, and price changes; ensure signage and local regulations compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization; manage stock rotation and shelf placement.
• Support bookkeeping activities, such as cash reports and ledger tasks.
