Job summary

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits, while supporting inventory, pricing, and basic bookkeeping tasks. A valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license per state requirements is preferred; one year of leadership or supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Responsibilities include registering all related sales on assigned cash register and assisting with pricing and signage tasks.
• Assists manager in reviewing order exceptions, vendor deliveries, and basic backroom operations.
• Maintains inventory counts and stock organization across floors and stockroom.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
