Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stock room.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change at registers.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience and coach team members on service best practices.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management; assist with vendor deliveries and backroom processes.
• Register all sales accurately, review price changes, and handle price verifications and voids.
• Assist in evaluating displays and merchandising; perform resets and revisions as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom; ensure proper signage and pricing for local regulations.
• Support bookkeeping activities, cash reports, and ledger maintenance as requested.
• Assist with exterior and interior store maintenance and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
