Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate who can open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling, and keep the floor and stockroom ready for business. You will assist with vendor deliveries, pricing, and inventory while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Expect to engage customers, resolve issues, and model service best practices. English fluency and a valid PTCB/pharmacy license are preferred as part of the qualifications.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Opens/closes store in absence of management and handles required cash & balancing.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience and helps customers with products and services.
• Maintains store systems, price changes, signage, and basic department pricing.
• Registers sales, reviews price verifications, and handles voids and errors.
• Supports inventory, backroom organization, and displays.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
