Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, handling cash, returns, and deliveries. You will help ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day and support backdoor access for deliveries.

The role focuses on delivering a distinctive customer experience, maintaining accurate inventory, pricing, and signage, and coaching team members on best practices and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, with cash handling and start-ups.
• Complete returns, refunds, and cash handling across registers.
• Maintain store and stockroom readiness for the business day.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Keep accurate inventory counts and pricing, with proper signage and local compliance.
• Support training and share customer service best practices with the team.
• Ensure bag checks and compliance with company policies.
