Job summary

La La Land Kind Cafe is seeking a Team Leader to guide daily operations in our Texas location. You will supervise staff, maintain service standards, and ensure safety and cleanliness while delivering a warm guest experience.

You’ll coach team members, handle shift coverage, and support inventory and administrative tasks, all with a focus on kindness and community values that define our movement.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Food handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate team members to ensure efficient operations during shifts.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or feedback to improve productivity.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.
• Collaborate with management to achieve company goals and improve operations.
• Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.
• Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Communicate concerns or suggestions between team members and upper management.
