La La Land Kind Cafe in Southlake, TX seeks an enthusiastic Team Leader to oversee daily operations and guide a fast-paced team. You will coach staff, ensure top service, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while managing inventory and administrative tasks.

This role requires standing for long periods, flexible scheduling, and a hands-on approach to creating a welcoming guest experience. Leadership and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with staff and guests.
• Able to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety basics.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with restaurant policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient operations during shifts.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or feedback to improve productivity.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.
• Collaborate with management to achieve company goals and improve operations.
• Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.
• Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between team members and upper management to communicate concerns or suggestions.
