Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a coffeehouse team, ensuring a welcoming space and delivering high-quality beverages and food while embodying Craft and Heart in every interaction.

You will coach staff, delegate tasks, and maintain operations, safety, and policy adherence during shifts. This role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Quality beverages and food preparation to standard recipes
• Six months of customer-facing experience
• Six months of experience delegating tasks to others and coordinating two or more employees

Responsibilities

• Lead by craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community
• Direct the work of team members to ensure smooth shift operations
• Coach and develop partners to deliver quality customer service
• Maintain store safety, cash handling and adherence to policies
• Ensure products meet standard recipes and customer specifications
