Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee is hiring for a shift supervisor role in California. You will deliver fast, friendly service, know our coffee and food, and work across café positions including kitchen duties to support smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in coffee/hospitality, previous supervisory experience, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Join a high-energy team and grow with us.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Drive-Thru experience is preferred
• Guest service focused, solution oriented
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal period and shifts
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
• Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
• Responsible for balancing and managing deposits
• Active in inventory and waste management
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures
• Perform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership
