Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure guest excellence, and train a fast-paced team across our California cafés. You’ll oversee service, maintain quality, and act as a bridge between baristas and managers.

The role requires 1+ year in coffee or hospitality, supervisory experience, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Join a high-energy, customer‑obsessed team and help us deliver the Buzz Life to every guest.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Drive-thru experience is preferred.
• Guest service focused with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and available for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross‑trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order.
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty.
• Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates.
• Balance and manage deposits and assist with inventory and waste management.
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures.
