Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee, a California coffee roaster, seeks a Shift Supervisor to deliver fast, friendly, and genuine service while guiding team duties across all café positions. The role emphasizes knowledge of beverages, consistency with recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The position requires availability for 28 hours/week including nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and a supportive, high-energy team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Drive-Thru experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions - cross-trained and adaptable - including kitchens to make food to order.
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty.
• Lead store cleanliness and safety - always ready for guests and teammates.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team.
• Balance and manage deposits; assist with inventory and waste management.
